Japan has set up a new record launching the heaviest firework in the world over its capital city, Tokyo.
The firework, a 460 kilogram bomb, was launched during a festival last Saturday in the city of Konosu in Saitama Prefecture.
Six hundred thousand people watched 15,000 separate fireworks light up the autumn sky during the show.
The firework, a 120 centimeters in diameter ball of explosive, was shot up into a spectacular flower of light nearly 1Km ( 0.6 mi ) in diameter.
